How to connect Facebook Ads to Claude: what you need

To connect Facebook Ads to Claude, add a data connector in Claude: open Customize, then Connectors, search for the connector, add it, sign in and authorize Facebook Ads. Anthropic says connectors let Claude reach your apps and services, retrieve your data and act inside them. Windsor.ai's connector for this is Windsor MCP.

• A Windsor.ai account, free or paid, with at least one connected data source such as Facebook Ads.
• A Claude account on the web or in the desktop app. In a company account an administrator must allow the connector, and on Team and Enterprise plans an Owner enables connectors for the organization.
• Access to the ad account at analyst level or higher.

Windsor.ai says the free Claude and ChatGPT plans can connect.

Step 1: add the connector in Claude

In Claude, open Customize, then Connectors, search for Windsor and click Add. You can also open the Windsor.ai listing in the Claude directory and click Connect. Claude then asks you to sign in with your Windsor.ai account to authorize the connection.

Windsor.ai says the same connector works in Claude Desktop and in Claude Code, where the terminal command claude plugin install windsor-ai adds it.

Step 2: authorize Facebook Ads and choose read or write access

In Windsor.ai, grant Facebook Ads access through Meta's OAuth sign-in, then choose which ad accounts to connect. Windsor.ai says Claude sees only the accounts and sources you authorize, and that your platform credentials stay with Windsor.ai while the assistant receives only the data needed to answer your question.

Windsor.ai says its Claude connector reads and writes. Write access covers Meta Ads, Google Ads, TikTok Ads, LinkedIn Ads and Microsoft Ads, and every change is confirmed by you first. Writes can pause campaigns or change budgets, so connect a platform user with read-only or reporting access if you want reading only.

In Claude, each connector permission can be set to Always allow, Needs approval or Blocked, and Anthropic says a write still needs your permission in the source system. Windsor.ai suggests Always allow for quicker access; Needs approval keeps a prompt in front of each write.

Step 3: test the connection

Start a chat with the connector on and ask Claude: List the data sources connected to my Windsor account. Windsor.ai suggests that prompt in its documentation, and a reply naming Facebook Ads shows the connection works.

You do not choose fields in Windsor.ai first, because it sends all available fields to Claude.

ChatGPT, Google Ads and TikTok Ads through the same connector

For ChatGPT, Windsor.ai says to open the Windsor.ai app page, click Connect, click Allow Access and enable the connector in each chat. OpenAI's Help Center now describes Settings, then Plugins, and says an app must be available for your plan, region, account and workspace. Google Ads and TikTok Ads data reach Claude through the same connector once they are connected in Windsor.ai. Perplexity accepts external connectors only on paid plans, Windsor.ai says.

Meta documents its own ads MCP server for ChatGPT, Claude, Claude Code and Perplexity, announced in open beta on April 29, 2026, with no developer credentials or coding needed. If Meta is your only platform, that server needs no third-party connector, though Meta says you may not have every tool yet.

Porter Metrics says its MCP for Claude and ChatGPT comes with every plan. Supermetrics counts Claude among its core destinations, one of which each of Starter and Growth includes.
