Windsor.ai vs Supermetrics: how each meters accounts, sources and destinations

Windsor.ai vs Supermetrics from each vendor's pricing pages: accounts per source against a shared pool, destinations by plan and a multi-client example.

Last materially reviewed 2026-10-24

Quick answerWindsor.ai limits data sources and a shared account total and includes every destination. Supermetrics limits accounts per data source and gives its first two plans one core destination each. For many client accounts, the meters give very different room.
Windsor.ai is likely to fit when

✓ Freelancers and small agencies that connect the same few platforms for many client accounts

✓ Teams that want Looker Studio, Sheets and BigQuery from one subscription

✓ Teams that add clients often and want a shared account total with unlimited users

✓ Buyers comparing a per-source account limit with a shared account pool

Important limitations

— Teams whose data is only Google Ads and GA4, where Google connectors and the native BigQuery export may be enough

— Teams that need more than 14 data sources or 500 accounts without an Enterprise quote

— Owners who want a standalone reporting app rather than data sent to Looker Studio, Sheets or a warehouse

— One-off reports where a manual export is quicker than a subscription

Windsor.ai vs Supermetrics: the main difference

The two tools charge for different things. Windsor.ai's pricing page limits data sources and a total account count shared across them, and includes every destination and unlimited users on paid plans. Supermetrics' pricing page limits accounts per data source and gives its Starter and Growth plans one core destination each, with data warehouse destinations such as BigQuery listed under Enterprise.

That difference decides the room a team gets when it has many client accounts or a warehouse. A team with two or three accounts may find the meters give similar room. Both vendors' pages were read on October 24, 2026, and amounts are left to those pages because each has billing views and can change.

Side by side: what each vendor's pages state

  • Entry plan: Windsor.ai Basic lists 3 data sources, 75 accounts and unlimited users. Supermetrics Starter lists 2 data sources, 2 accounts per data source and 1 user.
  • Next plan: Windsor.ai Standard lists 7 data sources, 75 accounts and unlimited destination tasks. Supermetrics Growth lists 7 data sources, 7 accounts per data source and 2 users.
  • Destinations: Windsor.ai includes all of them on every plan, including BigQuery. Supermetrics Starter and Growth include one core destination chosen from ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot, Looker Studio, Google Sheets, Excel and Power BI.
  • Warehouses: Supermetrics lists BigQuery and Snowflake with Enterprise, together with data warehousing, API access, transformations and storage.
  • Larger accounts: Windsor.ai Plus lists 200 accounts and Professional 500. Supermetrics Enterprise lists custom user and account limits and a choice of all data sources.
  • Trial: Windsor.ai offers a 30-day trial and a Forever Free plan with 1 data source and 1 account. Supermetrics' connector list offers a 14-day free trial.

Account math for a multi-client team

Take 12 clients, each with a Meta ads account, a Google Ads account and a GA4 property. That is 36 accounts across 3 data sources, and Windsor.ai's Basic limits of 3 sources and 75 accounts cover it. On Supermetrics the limit applies per data source, so 12 Meta accounts in one source are more than Growth's 7 accounts per data source. The plan cards mark their limits with an asterisk and mention upgrading with extras, and the card text does not itemize them, so ask for the total before you compare.

Add BigQuery as a second destination and the structural gap widens: Windsor.ai lists it on every plan, while Supermetrics lists it with Enterprise. With one or two clients the picture can reverse. Starter's 2 data sources with 2 accounts each may already be enough, and the comparison then comes down to live amounts. Divide each live amount by your own account count.

What each vendor says about the other

Windsor.ai publishes its own Supermetrics comparison page, and it favors Windsor.ai. It quotes Supermetrics' plan figures as of October 8, 2026, so use Supermetrics' own pricing page for current limits. Supermetrics' plan cards also list a Supermetrics Studio product with monthly AI credits, and its Enterprise column lists API access, data transformations, storage and multiple teams. Customer figures and migration results on either vendor's page are that vendor's claims, and neither page replaces your own check of the numbers.

Which to choose

  • Choose Windsor.ai if you manage many client accounts across a few platforms, want warehouse destinations without an Enterprise contract, or need several teammates on one account. The pricing guide shows how to size a plan.
  • Choose Supermetrics if you have few accounts, need its Enterprise tools such as API access, storage and multiple teams, or already run reports built on its connectors.
  • Look at Coupler.io, Porter Metrics, Dataslayer or Funnel if neither meter fits. The Looker Studio shortlist compares all six.

Moving a report from one to the other

  • For Looker Studio, Windsor.ai's page says to copy the report and replace each Supermetrics data source in the copy dialog, then check charts that use calculated fields because field names can differ.
  • For Google Sheets, the page says there is no automatic import of Supermetrics queries, so each query is recreated with its source, accounts, fields and schedule.
  • On history, the page says Windsor.ai reads past data directly from each platform as far back as that platform's API allows.
  • Run both for one billing cycle and compare totals for the same dates and accounts before canceling either.
